13th of October, 2020
Yesterday, in my role as the Honorary Consul of Pakistan for North Rhine-Westphalia, I organized a conference on the newly planned,
"Supply Chain Law" of the Federal Republic of Germany,
in cooperation with the Duesseldorf Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In addition to diplomats from textile-relevant countries, large textile companies were also represented by their CSR departments.
A very good exchange of information to know what demands will be made on the Pakistani textile industry in the future.
Further meetings were agreed upon in cooperation with the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Entry in the Golden Book of the city of Duisburg:
A very friendly reception from Mayor Sören Link combined with considerations to strengthen the cooperation between Duisburg and Pakistan.
Duisburg has the largest inland port in Europe and is at the same time the "final stop" on the new Silk Road. Taking a look at http://www.cpec.gov.pk and Gwadar, shows that it can result into a very useful cooperation.
